GRAFA CAFE AND RESTAURANT

Grafa was the first hipster café we went which is at Subang Jaya, ss15. Grafa name is derived from graphic final artwork in graphic designing. We interviewed Ikhwan Aiman, the manager or person in charge and he has been working there for 2 years.
Moving on with the food that we tried. Not only the café was beautifully design but the food was self-created with western influences and the sauce was homemade. The signature food that people often ordered were mee raja, chicken chop, and salted egg butter chicken chop. They are giving 10% discount for students and also the portions served is big with lower price.

WOOD & STEEL

After a busy week full of assignments it was a refreshing feeling to have an assignment that is not so stressful. This time our assignment involved us reviewing hipster cafes. Our second destination was Wood & Steel at Kota Damansara. Incorporating art, furniture with good food creates a very comfy and cozy environment to chill. Extra fact : Other than food & beverages they also sell furniture.

The menu
img_0106
Beef Bolognese - RM 19
The portions were decently size and served with a good amount of sauce. Overall it was decent but, wasn’t anything special.
img_0105
Spaghetti Carbonara - RM 23
This was the best dish we tried that day. Overall taste was excellent, one of the best carbonara’s we have tried. The sauce was rich and came with a generous serving.
img_0107
Roast Beef Sandwich - RM 21
The sandwich tasted delicious and fries were really good. The portion of roast beef in the sandwich was a bit unreasonable.
img_0098
Betty Boop - RM 10
This was a tasty and refreshing drink.
img_0104
Overall, the food was pretty good. The prices were reasonable for decently proportioned meals. We would recommend this place if you are looking for a new place that provides a different environment.
